David Aglukark

David Aglukark was a candidate for the electoral district of Nunavut in the 2006 Canadian federal election, representing the Conservative Party of Canada.
Aglukark was born and raised in what is now Nunavut. In 1974 he was elected president of the Kivalliq Inuit Association. From the 1970s to the present day, he has held a variety of official portfolios, including conducting land-claims negotiations and serving on boards for a number of organizations, including the Nunavut Wildlife Management Board, Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated, and Ukkusiksalik National Park.
