Davey Armstrong

Davey Lee Armstrong (born June 9, 1956) is a retired boxer from the United States, who represented his native country at the 1972 Summer Olympics. There he was eliminated in the second round of the men's light flyweight division (– 48 kg) by eventual bronze medalist Enrique Rodríguez from Spain. A resident of Puyallup, Washington, he won the gold medal at the 1975 Pan American Games. Armstrong turned pro as a lightweight on March 28, 1980, and retired in 1983 after 27 bouts (24 wins and 3 losses).
