David Welsh originally born from Tuscon, Arizona, is the secondary guitarist for the Colorado-based piano rock band The Fray. Welsh began playing the guitar when he was twelve years old and was in a band named Ember with Ben Wysocki and Isaac Slade before joining The Fray. Welsh was married on August 3, 2006, to Janelle Czropek.
