Dave Shea

Dave Shea is a web designer well known around the standards-based design community for his management of the CSS Zen Garden, along with his own blog, Mezzoblue. Shea is also the owner of his own web design company, Bright Creative, and an active member and contributor to the Web Standards Project. In 2003 and 2004 he worked as the Creative Director of Vancouver's Navarik Corp.

Along with co-authoring his own book, The Zen of CSS Design, Shea's work has also been featured in many internationally published magazines and books, both on the internet and in print. Some examples include Page Magazine, the Stylesheet Stylebook, the Linux Format Magazine, and PIXELmag, along with many others. Dave has also contributed to A List Apart, Digital Web Magazine, APress, and the DMXZone.
