Dave Reed is a member of the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives. He represents the 62nd state legislative district made up of parts of Indiana County . He is a member of the Republican Party.

Reed is Indiana University of Pennsylvania graduate, receiving a bachelor degree in. He later earned a Masters degree in goverenment admnistration from the University of Pennsylvania.

First elected in 2002, he has been reelected to his current seat in 2004 and 2006. As of 2007, Representative Reed serves on the Children and Youth, Commerce, Intergovernmental Affairs, State Government, and Environmental Resources Committees.
