Dave Bergman

David Bruce Bergman (born June 6, 1953, in Evanston, Illinois) was a Major League Baseball first baseman, designated hitter, and outfielder. He is an alumnus of Illinois State University.
Drafted by the New York Yankees in the 2nd round of the 1974 MLB amateur draft, Bergman would make his Major League Baseball debut with the New York Yankees on August 26, 1975, and appear in his final game on October 4, 1992.
Bergman was a member of the Detroit Tigers team that defeated the San Diego Padres in the 1984 World Series.
