Dave Akers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dave Akers is a veteran video game designer. He worked on Burgertime[1] Bump 'n Jump[2] and Star Strike[3] for the Atari 2600, plus the arcade games Klax[4] and Escape From The Planet Of The Robot Monsters.[5] He was also a developer for the M-Network project.

Aker's work on Klax is notable because he wrote the game in just a few weeks using Amiga Basic, then ported it line-by-line to C.[4]

As of Spring 2006, Dave has teaching English in Numazu, Japan.
