DataPreserve
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
DataPreserve is an automatic remote data backup service for Small and Medium Sized Businesses. Their service involves a Graphical User Interface (GUI) which automatically backs up local files to a remote location over the internet. Changes in selected files or directories are observed by the GUI, which sends changed files to a remote location, at scheduled intervals. Transfers between the GUI and the remote server are encrypted, and files are sent in an encrypted form using standard 448-bit blowfish encryption.
DataPreserve was founded in 2002, and was released nationally in 2006 with national press beginning in as early as June 2006[1].
