Dashwood, Ontario is a community located on the boundary of the town of Bluewater, Ontario and the town of South Huron, Ontario in southwestern Ontario. It has a population of approximately 400 and is situated 50 kilometers north of London, Ontario near the popular resort community of Grand Bend on Lake Huron. The first buildings were constructed by the brothers Noah and Absalom Fried in the late 1850's and early 1860's.
