Dasht is a Persian word, Dashti means of the (belonging to or orginating from) Dasht. Dasht means plain of arable land. Dashtestan is also a region of Iran Balochistan (Iran).

A Baloch tribe of Rind Origin . Dashtis are Rind Baloch of Dasht District Kech . Also found in different areas of Sindh , Baluchistan and Western Punjab
