[edit] Music video

The music video seems to be set in early 20th century Germany. A young girl is terrorized by her stepmother, stepbrother, and stepsister, while her father is away, presumably on a business trip. The young girl's stepsiblings frame her for numerous mischievous acts (e.g. breaking a ceramic ballarina figurine, dying white sheets blue while doing the laundry, etc.). Tired of being harassed by her "family", the young girl takes all of her stepfamily's most prized possessions and sets them ablaze. The lyrics of "Das letzte Streichholz" reflect what is shown in the video. The video concludes with the young girl with her father standing on the doorstep of what was formerly their home, smiling and waving to the antagonistic step-family.
