"I am not dark, I am not an Adonis, and there is only one of me.
Yet, they call me DarkAdonis255..."
Bobby is a seventeen year-old boy who has contributed to a number of different web sites, mostly relating to video games. He has written many video game reviews, some poems, and stands firm in his belief of the Christian doctrines.
[edit] Biography
Little is known regarding the location of Bobby in the flesh. Bobby is highly cautious of the world around him, and with all of the stories regarding stalkers and sexual predators, he has no wish to expose his real location, nor a photo of himself.
He has revealed, however, that he was born on November 16, 1989, currently making him seventeen years-old. He is a junior in his blue-ribbon high school. He lives with his mother and father. He has a sister, whose name he has refused to reveal, who attends college. His dad had two girls with a past wife, making the girls his half-sisters. They are still in contact, but Bobby has not met his father's past wife. All of his grandparents are dead, other than his dad's mother. He has two cats, Kitty-Kitten and Booey. The latter was found on the road and rescued by Bobby's family.
His family is economically stable and has always been able to provide for Bobby. He has never moved from one home to another. He often obtains A's in school and is considered to be a good student, albeit a perfectionist.
Bobby plans to go to college, but which one is uncertain, even to himself. He is not even sure in what he will major. He may pursue a career in freelance writing, or perhaps as a Spanish translator.
[edit] Personality
Bobby has a unique personality. He is generally timid around people he doesn't know, even online, but to some people, is honest to the point of embarrassment. He is also said to be very funny, as well. He is generally conservative in his views. He does not carry out conversations well and can sometimes be sarcastic to the point of being offensive. However, he also manages to be generous and accepting while holding firm to his opinions. He can also be very dramatic and sensitive towards the innocent. Yet, he tends to lack sympathy for people who cause their own problems. He has a generally low self-esteem, but feels that, by the Holy Spirit, he does have worth and can strive to always be better.
[edit] Beliefs
Bobby has a father and a mother who used to be not at all devoted to Christianity. He used to hold the idea that God would send him to heaven if he was a good person. He even felt that all it took to reach Heaven was to not sin at all for one day.
Even at a young age, Bobby feared the concept of death. He was frightened by the possibility of there not being a Heaven. He was also afraid of existing eternally in Heaven.
A friend of his invited him to Bible school. He had gone to Bible schools when he was young and felt that they were boring. However, he did not want to let his friend down and attended. There were a number of activities there that he felt were too young for him (as his mom angrily pointed out after his group sang a song about fishing for men). Yet, there was one class in which his teacher made a very inspirational speech regarding reaching Heaven. It touched him. He decided to try to be nicer.
He was hit with a wave of spirituality due to the Bible school. He prayed before playing video games and before going to bed. His prayers were, at first, always the same.
During his fifth grade year, he was surrounded by kind teachers and people. These factors allowed him to not hold anger against others. In his clearer state of mind, he improved vastly in his kindness.
He and his mom began to attend a local church that his mother noticed in the mail. At first, he stayed in the kids section. He rose to the typical church service later. Though it was boring at times, Bobby began to realize that he was not a Christian in just believing in God. He felt you truly had to repent for your sins in Jesus' name. He used to think he had done this long before ever attending church, but he decided that it was just lately he realized the full extent of his sins. He was baptized during his sixth grade year.
His new year's resolution for 2005 was to read the Bible. He decided upon one chapter a day, which would allow him to have read it all in four years. Since then, he has read some of the Old Testament and all of the New Testament.
Bobby began to go the route of Apologetics. He sought to defend God's word, both for the sake of himself and others. He would sometimes get into arguments with his friends. These conflicts would emerge on the Internet.
In recent times, he has taken less interest in Apologetics. He has noticed that people with whom he argues simply refuse to accept anything he says, sometimes replying with nothing more than sarcastic, ignorant remarks. Plus, there are many web sites that do a great job defending God, as he has listed. His time is now spent trying to better himself, be friendlier, and overcome the sin in his mind.
Bobby's beliefs most closely align with those of the Baptist faith. He feels that the Bible should be followed and trusted completely. He feels many Catholic and Roman Catholic beliefs come not from God, but from man. He is against abortion in all cases. He feels gay marriage should be legal, as by separation of church and state, but feels also that God will treat them with his justice when the time comes. He feels Christians should not shove their beliefs down other people's throats, as the Bible states[1]. He feels that salvation cannot be lost, a Baptists view, as genuine love for God would never fade.
He takes his faith very seriously. He even says that he does not have a fear of death anymore, though he admits that he would not smile if a knife was held up to his neck.
[edit] Writing
Bobby often writes in his spare time. He wrote a poem called "When You Looked at Me" that was later published by Poetry.com. The poem was written merely to look cool in his AIM profile. However, he decided to write more poetry. Since then, he has written over twenty more poems. In general, they regard love for one who will never love one back. There are also humorous poems in the collection. He claims that some of poems have no correlation with his real life whatsoever while others are letting out his most personal of emotions.
He keeps a brief log of all of the dreams he has at night, and he maintains a journal.
He is also planning to write a novel. He is going to take his time so that he may publish it. He reads Writer's Digest for tips that will aid his skills.
Most of his work can be viewed on his section of the website Fiction Press.
[edit] Online activities
Ever since his fifth grade year, during which his family purchased a Hewlett-Packard personal computer, Bobby has been highly fascinated by the online world. He mostly used it to find video game information. At first, he felt any website asking for registration was a virus waiting to happen. However, he eventually worked up the courage to join a gaming community known as Game Talk. There, he took the name Mr. Game and Watch 64, as inspired by the character from Super Smash Bros. Melee and the Nintendo 64 console. He followed that forum, as well as that of Jet Force Gemini. He made friends with people such as phoenix_advance there.
Bobby decided to make a website known as Mr. Game and Watch 64's Site by using Yahoo! Geocities. His reviews could also be found under the name Tails 64 on GameFAQS. The site had many pretty pictures taken from other websites and any reviews he wrote for video games. At first, his reviews were highly unprofessional and far too lenient in handing out high scores. As time passed, though, he caught on to what made other reviews good. His website managed to last over a year.
He received an e-mail from a person named Chris Richards. He ran a website called Nintendo Centre. Chris said that he saw Bobby's reviews on GameFAQs and was highly impressed. He told Bobby that if he became a reviewer for his site, he would receive a free game from time-to-time. Bobby quickly accepted. On Nintendo Centre, Bobby wrote about thirty video game reviews, all of which were of highly acceptable quality. He was easily the most useful staff member on the site. However, during the summer of 2005, school assignments fettered him from being of much aid. He quietly left the website the winter of the same year, though he continued to participate in the forums. Both the forums and the website collapsed in January 2007.
His work is posted on a number of different websites and often receive trust from those who typically do not trust professional review websites and magazines.
Bobby currently participates actively in the following websites:

The username DarkAdonis255 was based upon a character in the Playstation 2 game Disgaea: Hour of Darkness who calls himself the Dark Adonis. The number 255 was chosen because this number appears often in the Game Boy Advance video game Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. According to an anonymous Wikipedia user, "The reason 255 appears a lot in some video games is almost certainly because a single eight-bit byte can store 2^8 = 256 unique values (including zero), so 255 is the largest number that can be represented." Tails 64 is based upon the Sonic the Hedgehog series character. Robert is his formal name, as Chris Richards of Nintendo Centre wished to call him.
Since his interest in video games has fallen, his desire to post on video game-based forums as fallen, as well. He has not been inspired to write poetry lately, so his activity on Fiction Press is rapidly falling, as well.
DarkAdonis255 is his name for AOL Instant Messenger. Robertman64@hotmail.com is his MSN Hotmail address.
[edit] Wikipedia
Bobby has been a Wikipedia user since October 11, 2005 [2]. His first edits involved the article on the cartoon Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. Then, overly eager, he made a Wikipedia article about himself; it was deleted in mere seconds, since Bobby is not notable. He then made the text of the article his user page. At first, he pretended that his account, as DarkAdonis255, was not him, but someone who knew him from online forums. His friends readily believed him. Bobby confessed later that he actually wrote the user page, but chose to keep it in the third-person. Over time, it has become the most extensive information page about him; he links to this page at every website he visits. He had a jolly time collecting his userboxes.
Most of Bobby's contributions to Wikipedia involve his interests [3]. He puts heavy emphasis upon citing sources, as he feels the lack thereof is one of the main criticisms against Wikipedia. He will often click upon the Random article feature, glance at the article, and put the {{references}} tag on the article if he does not see sources. He is also quick to clean-up grammar, and he loathes the use of second-person on Wikipedia.
[edit] Video gaming
Ever since he was a young child, Bobby was highly interested in the activity of playing video games. Dominating a majority of his time, his parents were not reluctant to give him almost any game he desired. He rarely pays for his own video games. He currently owns over 340 games, as seen in his list in his Buddy 4U Profile.
His main interests are action video games. Most of his games have an E or T rating from the Entertainment Software Ratings Board. He is very strict with what violence he allows to enter his mind, so he has only two M-Rated video games. His favorite video game series include Kirby, Super Mario, Pikmin, Sonic the Hedgehog, and many other Nintendo games. He has often been insulted for his "childish" taste in games.
During his later elementary years, he received video games even more rapidly than usual. He had many difficulties in his sixth grade year, being a perfectionist who would cry over an A-. It is thought that his parents simply felt giving him games may help him make it through the tough time in his life.
In his eighth grade year, the Nintendo Game Cube had a lack of games. In order to remedy a deprivation of new video games, he asked his parents to buy a Playstation 2 for him. They accepted. He received it, along with Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, one of his favorite games ever.
In recent times, he has received far less games for multiple reasons. He wishes to use money towards more beneficial causes. In addition, his free time has been drastically cut due to his diligent work in school, leaving little time for play. Also, video games do not have the same appeal to him as they did in the past. They are now all starting to seem the same to him. This is quite shocking for people who know him only from his younger years.
He still enjoys gaming, though it is not an obsession. His recent favorite games tend to be unique, such as Trauma Center: Under the Knife, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and Elite Beat Agents for the Nintendo DS, which is currently his favorite system. He also owns a Wii, but he does not play it often.
[edit] Other interests
Bobby's interests are mostly reduced to using his personal computer. However, he does participate in other activities, as well.
His interest in television shows are generally unsophisticated. Nickelodeon is his most watched channel, with his favorite shows being Sponge Bob, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Invader Zim, Hey Arnold!, and more. He also watches Home and Garden Television on occasion. He used to watch the Pokemon anime. The only anime that he watches now is Ojamajo Doremi.
He likes most kinds of music, other than hip-hop, but is especially fond of the J-Pop band called Puffy AmiYumi. Ever since he saw the cartoon Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi, he has found all of the band's songs online. He also likes M2M, Utada Hikaru, Tsunami Bomb, the Stray Cats, Relient K, the brilliant green, Morning Musume, Steven Curtis Chapman, video game music, and more. His Archos MP3 player has well over one-thousand five-hundred songs on it.
