Hi, I'm Darius Kazemi. I'm a game developer by trade, but I was trained as an electrical engineer, and my interests include but are not limited to early 20th century Spanish literature and Latin American literature, philosophy from all eras, comic books, graph theory, and cooking (specifically BBQ). I like riding my bike, although I only get to do that about 5 months of the year in Boston.

In my spare time I do a lot of volunteer work for the International Game Developers Association, and I also write articles on effective networking in the game industry.

I've been following and using Wikipedia since about 2002, and I've set up and maintained several public and private wikis since then, using a variety of wiki software including MediaWiki, Instiki, and PBWiki. But it was only very recently that I worked up the courage to actually start contributing in a meaningful way to the Wikipedia community (I'd been pretty intimidated looking in from the outside).
