Talk:Dark Masters

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dark Masters is within the scope of WikiProject Digimon, which aims to organize, expand, clean up, and guide Digimon related articles on Wikipedia.

Note: Major article re-organization and merging that will effect most Digimon articles is currently being discussed. All interested editors are invited to join the discussion and share their input.

[edit] Victims of the Dark Masters

1) Piximon was presumed dead by the digidestined (1.43, Playing Games, Mimi built a memorial for piximon along with the other dead) - might lend more credibility to the belief that he is dead.
2) The arm note about the English version doesn't seem entirely accurate. After the arm gets blown off, it disintegrates which I always interpreted to mean he had been destroyed. Yes, it might be slightly cut from the Japanese version, but I felt the message was still there. His failure to show up later, the fact all sound from him ended before the arm dissintegrated and there was only one line that sounded like an allusion rather than a comment about suggesting it was just his arm that he lost.....I don't think the comment is accurate.

[edit] Keep

Let the pages stay separate! This will ruin the links on the list of Digimon pages like they did with some of the Digimon belonging to the Digi-Destined. Rtkat3 (talk) 16 January 2007, 12:40 (UTC)

I'm on your side on this, that's going too far. User:Fractyl
I agree, there's only 4 dark masters anyway! Is merging them REALLY nessacary? Bubble bunny
Yes. -- Ned Scott 15:48, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Dark Masters is an Original group and appeared only on the world of Digimon Adventure. Their connection is not intended by original creaters and each of them is depended from the other. We shouldn't merge against Creater's intention.--58.70.5.14 13:58, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Think of it this way, guys. As it stands, all these miscellaneous articles are difficult for the AVERAGE READER to wade through. We have no trouble finding articles, because we've immersed ourselves in the Digimon universe. But what about the mom who wants to know more about her child's interest or the adult that has vague recollections of this stuff and pops on Wikipedia to see if his memories stack up to reality? They're gonna have a hell of a time wading through category upon category and article upon article, not to mention have no idea what the articles mean since they fail to provide the fundamental mechanics of the Digimon universe. In fact, I'm sure they wouldn't do it. Normal people don't spend their days in Wikiland. :P So in short, before you decry the reorganization look outside of yourself, think of the children, blah blah blah. [edit] Rewrite

This article needs some serious rewritting. The information is scattered and unorganized. I am going to start working on this.--Mmmundo 03:47, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
