[edit] "Weapons Discrepancy"

M'kay. This section keeps being put back but it's blatantly wrong.

1) The weapon Harry's Dark Horn is equipped with is NOT a CP-03. Harry identifies the weapon by name; it is a "Special Edition Gatling Rifle". If it was a Hybrid Vulcan or a Beam Gatling he'd call it that. The special edition gatling rifle is indeed a projectile weapon, as it is depicted with an ammo belt. This same weapon is used by McMann's Dark Horns, as one can see in the screenshot in the article.

2) The gatling Shubaltz' Iron Kong carries isn't a CP-03. It's too small and it has a visible ammo belt, which no other gatling weapons in the series other then McMann and Harry's 'Horns are depicted with. Ergo, it isn't a CP-03; it is either a scaled down, extensively modified version of the weapon or a completely different, anime-only custom part.

3) There's no evidence that "stock" Dark Horns are firing projectiles from their gatlings. There's no ammo belt, and the Zoids are depicted with the feul tube leading into the shoulder, just like the model.

4) Trying to identify the type of projectile by the sound it makes is the weakest arguement one can make in favour of the "weapons discrepancy", as the Shadow Fox, whose Laser Vulcan Gun is clearly described as such in both dialogue and data readouts, makes a sound like a projectile weapon.

There's zero concrete evidence that this so-called "weapons discrepancy" exists, and until some satisfactory evidence is brought up in favour of it I'm just going to keep zapping it. If you want to bitch about a Dark Horn's weapons being depicted inaccurately, bring up the fact that its acid sprayer is depicted as a *machine gun*. That's a FAR more blatant error. ;p K00bine 06:20, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
