Talk:Dark•Matter
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Just to say that the title appears to be "Dark Matter" not "Dark*Matter". The star does not appear in official book or game listings, though it is included on a few fan sites. DJ Clayworth 13:49, 7 October 2005 (UTC)
That's not true. Many online stores don't use it, because the actuall character isn't easily available. The actual symbol used is the ellipse but most people use the asterisk as the ellipse isn't availbe on most keyboards. The rule book uses Dark*Matter all throughout the text, with the exception of it using the ellipse instead of the asterisk. This is the reason the asterisk is used on most fan sites. Re: The hoffman institute: while all the published adventures contain hooks for hoffman institute players, it is by no means required to be in that organization to play. The institute could be completely removed from the game without adverse consequence (save making more work for the GM). 24.252.10.228 18:12, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
