Darren Jackson (born 25 July 1966 in Edinburgh) is a former Scottish professional footballer.
Jackson played for Meadowbank Thistle, Newcastle United, Dundee United, Hibernian, Celtic, Coventry City, Hearts, Livingston, St Johnstone and Clydebank.
During his time at Celtic, Jackson was treated for hydrocephalus.[1]
Jackson also won 28 caps for Scotland, scoring 4 goals including 2 against Malta in 1997. Jackson was part of the Scotland squads for Euro 96 and the 1998 World Cup.
