Darren Howard (born November 19, 1976 in St. Petersburg, Florida) is an American football player who currently plays Defensive End and is a backup Long snapper for the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL. He went to Boca Ciega High School in his hometown and graduated from Kansas State University. He was selected in the second round, with the 33rd pick, from the New Orleans Saints. From 2000-2005, he played Defensive End for the Saints. On Monday, March 13, 2006, he joined the Philadelphia Eagles through free agency, by signing a six-year deal[1] He is one of the few defensive lineman in the NFL with the ability to play defensive end and defensive tackle.

His career stats are 259 tackles, 44.5 sacks, 13 forced fumbles, 8 fumbles recovered, 19 passes defended and 2 interceptions in 81 games.
