The Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, (in German: Hochschule Darmstadt (h_da)) in Darmstadt, Germany plays a significant role among German universities of Applied Sciences. It is internationally well known for its outstanding achievements in the areas of engineering and computer science.
The University was founded in 1971 and is the largest University of Applied Sciences in Hesse(German: Hessen) with about 11,000 students.
