[edit] Interesting Facts
= It was on this ground that a local "would-be hero", Barry Diewell, who was the last man on his inter school cricket team needed to make 3 runs off 4 overs, however Barry could not manage to find a helmet large enough to fit on his enormous head. In the end he entered the pitch wearing a yellow stack hat much to the amusement of all 6 primary schools in the competition. He managed to be bowled out for a golden duck and has only been spotted twice to this day. Some say he rides the V-line service to Melbourne each day to have personal cricketing lessons, others say he simply enjoys the 40 minute trip. But whatever the case Barry Diewell will always be remembered as the only person in Bacchus Marsh to ever try and strangle ones self to death.
