Darlene Koldenhoven (born in Chicago) is a singer with a 5 octave range, keyboardist musician, record producer, songwriter, author, and a Grammy Award winning artist, best known for her featured vocal solo "Aria" in Yanni Live at the Acropolis. Darlene's latest CD is "Infinite Voice." Previous CDs are the award winning "Heavenly Peace," "Free to Serve," and "Keys to the World." She also has 3 Grammy nominations and an MVP award from The Recording Academy for "Best Studio Singer". Among her many accolades are 2 Telley awards for her song/video: "Love is an Action Word." She has appeared in both "Sister Act" films with Whoopi Goldberg as beloved tambourine-waving choir nun and real life musical director/production vocal coach for the films. As an author, she has written a comprehensive music education instructional book with 7 CDs called "Tune Your Voice", to train the mind's musical ear and teach people how to sing. Darlene has recorded with artists such as Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Pink Floyd, Rod Stewart, David Byrne, Ramsey Lewis and many more. She has also appeared on camera singing in Studio 60, American Idol specials, Academy Awards 2000 with Robin Williams and much, much more.
