Dark Ride is a horror film, selected to play at the 8 Films To Die For film festival. A decade has nearly passed since psychopath Jonah brutally murdered two teenage girls. Now, after nearly 10 years of being incarcerated in a mental institute, Jonah has somehow escaped and has returned to his turf - an amusement park attraction named "Dark Ride" (located in Asbury...pretty badass). Unknowingly, a group of six friends on their way to a road trip and have just boarded the ride, unaware of the deadly plans Jonah has for them.
The dvd is being released Tuesday, March 27th 2007.

Some of the movie was based factual events. Such as the "Dark Ride" at the Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. The place caught flame, and several teenagers died. Of course this did happen durring the 70's.[citation needed]
