Dare Devil Dennis (also spelled Dare Devil Denis) is the name of two computer games published by Visions Software Factory in 1984, one for the Acorn Electron/BBC Micro and another for the Commodore 64.

Dare Devil Dennis is a platform game where the player takes the role of Dare Devil Dennis, a former movie star who was awarded an Oscar in his heyday. But his days of stardom are now past, and as if to add insult to the injury, his cousin Decidedly Daft Douglas steals his Oscar, cuts it into small pieces, and hides them in various places around the movie studio's storerooms.

Each level takes the form of one of the storerooms. On the Commodore 64, the levels are in two parts: an introductory mini-level and the proper level. In the mini-level, Dennis walks to the studio through a meadow. During his walk, he can jump to avoid trampling flowers, and to burst balloons, for bonus points. The mini-level is completely safe and ends after a timer runs out. The mini-level is not included in the Electron/BBC version of the game.

In the proper level, Dennis drives around the storeroom's various platforms on his motorcycle. He can jump over gaps between the platforms, and ride an elevator to move between platforms at different heights. Pieces of the Oscar drop down from the sky in parcels. The parcels open upon reaching a platform, revealing an Oscar piece, which Dennis can then collect.

Various enemies appear in each level. Rocks fall from the sky, helicopters fly horizontally through the screen, various monsters jump up and down in their place, and a maniacal motorcyclist drives all around the screen. There are also stationary props which Dennis must avoid. Contact with any enemy is fatal to Dennis. An extra life can be had by completing an Oscar, after which the Oscar restarts from scratch.

Every morning, Dennis eats porridge for breakfast, which gives him a finite amount of "porridge power". This can be accessed by holding down on the joystick, which will make Dennis invincible for a short time.
