[edit] Isfahan
Dardasht is also the name of a quarter (formerly known as Babol-Dasht) and a historical minaret in Isfahan province of Iran. Dardasht is well known for its outstanding cemetery and shrine architecture as the Darb-i Imam Shrine. The Dardasht quarter of Isfahan was one of the major Jewish quarters of the city. Unlike other Jewish quarters, Dardasht was in a closer proximety to the city center and its Jewish residents had a closer contact with Muslim areas. Unlike Jews of Mahlleh--Juybareh--Dardashti Jews could not converse in Judeopersian language.
