Daphne Chanders is a recurring secondary character on the US television series, Queer as Folk

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Daphne is most prominently featured during the first two seasons. She is Justin Taylor's best friend, and the first person that he came out to. She is Justin's confidante for most of the first season, especially when his parents are in the middle of a messy divorce. Towards the end of the first season, she asked Justin to "be her first," and the two had sex. Afterwards, Daphne became romantically interested in Justin, causing him to yell at her for it, and that just because they had sex didn't mean that he was in love with her. However, Daphne reminded him that Justin was acting the same way she was towards Brian Kinney. The two reconciled and went to their high school prom as dates.

Daphne and Justin went to separate colleges, and during fights with Brian, Justin would sleep at her apartment. He also lived there briefly after he was broken up with Ethan and was trying to get back with Brian.
