[edit] Proposed merger

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. I see you have proposed a merger of Lucas number into Lucas sequence. I think there are very good reasons why the articles should not be merged - I have explained these reasons on the articles' talk pages. If you want to consult other editors who are active in the mathematics area of Wikipedia you could mention the proposed merger on the WikiProject Mathematics talk page. Hi, Danielklein!

I'd like to second what Gandalf61 just said. Please mention proposed mergers of two math articles on the [[math talk page before tagging the articles. Things will probably go more smoothly that way. Anyway, I don't think the proposed merger is a good idea, for reasons I've explained both here and here. Have a great day! DavidCBryant 12:34, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
