Re:Admin Coaching.
I'm not quite sure what you are asking, so I'll try and explain, and if it doesn't answer your question you can always get back to me for clarification!
If you are interested in being coached under the Esperanza admin coaching programme you need to sign up at the bottom of the "Requests" list on that page. Eventually (there is a very long backlog there) you will be assigned (i.e. you don't ask anyone personally for it) a couple of coaches to help you out with admin related skills and tasks.
You might have seen my personal rfa reviews subpage. This is totally separate from the admin coaching program, and is something I do independently from anyone else. If you ask me to, I'll take a look at your contributions, see how suitable you'd be to become an admin, with the view to nominating you if I think you'd be suitable. I'd rather that only people who were reasonably confidant that they will soon be suitable for a WP:RFA nomination asked for that. If I nominate you via that method, I will provide plenty of support during the RFA process. Also note, that because I'm pretty busy in real life, there will also be a long wait before I have enough time to complete anything on that page.
If another user decides to nominate you, it is up to them how much support they provide. You are probably better off waiting for a nomination from an experienced user (for example, but not necessarily, an admin) than accepting one from a new user, who will have less idea how the RFA process works.
None of the above is in any way a guarantee that you will become an admin, there are just ways to help out.
Hope that helps :) Petros471 09:24, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

User:NoSeptember/List of Administrators
Yes, the colors are based on the promotion date of each admin (see the page's intro). The semiactives, inactives and formers are all listed in three sections at the bottom of the page. Feel free to update the chart if you like, I use a slightly different color code each month now, which is listed on the talk page. I review any edits that are made, so don't worry if you get it slightly wrong at first, I am always happy to have anyone who wants to update or improve my subpages to do so :). A humble request for your opinion
Hello! I hope you are feeling fine. Recently, you expressed an oppose opinion with regards to my RfA. I would like to thank your feedback on this but I need another critical feedback from you. If you could spare a few minutes to voice any concerns you may be having with regards to my contributions to this project since my last RfA on this page, I would be most grateful. Once again, thank you for your time! --Siva1979Talk to me 06:03, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Hey Daniel, thanks a lot for supporting me in my recent RfA. It succeeded, and I am very grateful to all of you. If you ever need help with anything, please don't hesitate to ask. Also, feel free point out any mistakes I make! Thanks again, —Khoikhoi 04:01, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Debian
Pardon me if I seem rude, but is there some reason you are asking me about Debian? To the best of my knowledge it is just another distribution of linux. And no I do not use Debian. Yes I do use firefox almost exclusively. For some reason you seem to think I have extensive knowledge regarding Debian, why is that? Have you confused me for someone else? I'm afraid you have confused me. -- malo (tlk) (cntrbtns) 19:15, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

VandalSniper
Thanks for applying to use VandalSniper! You have been approved. If have not already done so, you may find instructions to install VS on the project page.
As some of the libraries VandalSniper runs on are currently in transition, there have been a few issues reported with setup. At the moment, Linux is the most compatible platform for VS. If you have questions or problems, you may find help on the project page or its talk page. Please also feel free to contact me for help and I will do my best to assist you.

Re: Hi
Hi, I noticed that you suddenly reverted my comments on Wikipedia:Administrator's noticeboard/Incidents. Are there any reason for deleting my comments? Just want to know. Cheers!! Daniel5127 (Talk) 05:08, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Template Help
Dear Daniel5127,
How can I put a category in a template, so that an article/picture goes into the category when they got their template on their page?

Metsbot
Hello, Mets501. I am just curious about your bot. Does your bot only use for fixing templates, template substitutions? Well, I didn't even check my old messages [[1]],and didn't even notice that your bot was fixing couple template on my old messages for Esperanza Newspaper. I know your bot automatically fixing templates on user's page, and some links. In my opinion, your bot is also used for removed deleted images. What else does your bot do? Daniel5127 <Talk> 06:40, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Daniel! A general summary of the tasks that my bot performs are located at User:MetsBot#Tasks. If you have any requests for MetsBot, you can list them at User:MetsBot/Requests, or if you want a bot for a task MetsBot is not approved to do, you can list is at WP:BOTREQ. —Mets501 (talk) 02:52, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Last change
Hello,
Thanks for the note, but my last change wasn't a test. There's a musical group called the Cunninlynguists, several of my friends are fans of theirs, and it's a very appropriate link for a paragraph talking about the pun "cunning linguist." Please don't revert this - it's relevant to the article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.197.131.165 (talk • contribs).
Re: Hi.
Sorry for the late message, I've been pretty busy as well. :) Anyways, the links you are referring to are called interwiki links. By clicking on one, you can see an article's version in another language (if it exists on that language Wikipedia). They are made like this:
[[xxx:Title]]
Where "xxx" is the two- or three-letter code for a Wikipedia in another language and "Title" is the article title in that language. Any Wikipedia's language code can be found at the beginning of the website's URL. For example, the Spanish Wikipedia's language code is es (short for Español, of course), from es.wikipedia.org. So, to link to the Spanish version of an article called The weather in London, you would type:
[[es:El tiempo en Londres]]
Hope this helps; feel free to get back to me if you need anything else. Cheers! --Merovingian ※ Talk 07:23, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Userboxes
Hi, Dan! Thanks for swinging by. I was just doing a bit of vandal-slaying between lulls here at work, but I'll take a closer look tomorrow so I can give it my full attention. In fact, I'm having the same trouble; I can't seem to arrange mine the way I'd like. Anyway, let's take a look-see tomorrow. If you don't mind, I'll log on and play with your userpage and see what I can do with it. - Lucky 6.9 02:54, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

I remember we talked a few months ago. Thanks for reverting the spam on the pages about American cities. I reverted the rest of that IPs edits. I don't know if you're an admin yet, but I will definitely block it if it spams again, and I will be here for a couple hours so you can contact me if you find any more vandals. - Not a problem. I've been reverting all spams that some ip user made on all U.S city articles. No, I'm not admin, but I'm using tools to revert vandals. Daniel5127 <Talk> 08:10, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

Re: Monobook
Thanks for your question. First, I'll admit that I'm not the most experienced user or the one most familiar with either monobook, so you might wish to find someone at Wikipedia:WikiProject User scripts who can help you and clarify things better than I can. However, I'll do my best to answer your questions. The .js file is written in JavaScript; each user's monobook.js
file can be used to add or remove links to the sidebar, add popups (such as Lupin's popups tool), and other customization similar to that mentioned. The .css file, however, is a Cascading Style Sheet. The user's monobook.css
can be changed to customize font, display size, etc. Wikipedia:Monobook offers more information on the .js files, and Help:User style explains .css files. As for the use of monobooks throughout Wikipedia, there are global monobooks (MediaWiki:Monobook.css, MediaWiki:Common.css, and MediaWiki:Common.js) in the MediaWiki
namespace that set the default sidebar links, font, etc.; any changes to your monobook edits the global monobook for your viewing only, while changes to those pages affect the entire site. I'm not too sure what you mean by "for newspaper in wikipedia about Arbitration Committee". I hope I've answered your questions! If not, let me know and I'll do my best to clarify. Thanks!
