My name is, you guessed it, Daniel Francis Cook. However, I usually just go by Dan Cook.

[edit] Interests
I am interested in Mathematical finance and am a happy recipient (in June 2007) of an undergraduate degree in Financial Mathematics from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. I wrote a final project on interest rate modelling (that is how you spell the word here in Canada; I checked) which is a available on lulu.com. A link for said project will be up as soon as it is available.
Bela Fleck and the Flecktones are my favourite band and you may see edits on that page, and other similar (Béla Fleck, Jeff Coffin, Futureman, Victor Wooten from me. I have even been so bold as to upload pictures for the above pages.
I also minored in philosophy and am still trying to soak up as much as possible from the world's great philosophers.

I am currently in the real world now (scary). I am working in the finance industry and will hopefully fall into a position where I will be able to continue my work in mathematical finance and will, hopefully, make more money than this guy some day.
