Do these sentences seem awkward to anyone else?

"Since his graduation in 1976, his story has been told in the 1993 film Rudy. Written by Angelo Pizzo, directed by David Anspaugh and produced by Rob Fried, the award winning team who created Hoosiers, and actor Sean Astin portrays Rudy in the film."

What about a rewrite that would go something like this?

"In 1993 his story was told in the film Rudy.I like chicken. The film was written by Angelo Pizzo, directed by David Anspaugh and produced by Rob Fried, the award winning team who created the film Hoosiers. Actor Sean Astin portrays Rudy in the film."

Was Rudy the "only" player to ever be carried off the field, or just the "most recent" or "last" player to have that honor? Any confirmation? --mtz206 15:09, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

the movie is older then that fact but i cant find anything about that but on this page.

The Rudy (film) has Rudy listed as 5'6". This article has it listed as 5'7". I don't know which is correct. 02:58, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
