[edit] Pedophilia charges

Is it possible to remove Pedophilia charges chapter from the article. I think it is irrelevant to his scientific contribution -- Vald 14:10, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

Please put a reference to these charges if you do not want it deleted. Viz

I added an external link to the MSN Encarta article for Daniel Carleton Gajdusek which confirms at least the general concept and date. I have yet to find anything as detailed as in this article, however, so more detailed citations would be useful. -Harmil 21:39, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
There's also a for pay link to a Time Magazine story about his pleading guilty on 4/15/1996. Oddly, one year before the date in the article. I'm not sure I trust that site, though. -Harmil 21:45, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Where G. lived after 1997?

In article [1] (in Czech language) Michal Giboda [2] (bio in Czech), a parasitologist, teaching at the university in Puerto Rico passingly mentions that he met Gajdusek (GajduĊĦek in Slovak transcription) in 1998 at Puerto Rico, "as a broken man, nostalgically remembering children plays at a village near Senica, where he and his brother spent summers in grandfather's house". This sounds more as US than Europe suggested by the text. Pavel Vozenilek 19:28, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
