and is currently promoting it, playing a number of low key gigs around the country. He played at the Live8 show in Stirling last July.
I can find no reference to a solo album being currently available on the chumbas website, nor can I imagine Nobacon playing the Live8 festival, but if these statements can be verified and refernced please feel free to replace. quercus robur 13:22, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
- I put it in originaly. Hows your german?Looks to me like he was certainly booked to play on the saturyday, I can't confirm whether he did. Doesn't seem odd to me that he would support cancelling of 3rd world debt but no matter. Good work there by the way. --LiamE 17:21, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

- Hi LiamE, I could imagine him doing some kind of alternative gig, maybe around the G8 protests, but in the light of the stuff Chumbawamaba came out with about Live Aid, particularly on Pictures of Starving Children, it would seem out of keeping to do something so 'mainstream', but then again, back in those days who'd have thought they'd one day sign to EMI??? quercus robur 18:20, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

- So the Stirling event had nothing to do with Live8. Well spotted. And why put pictures of starving children on your records when you could put a picture of your dick on instead? --LiamE 20:08, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] He drinks a water drink
Also, how about some verification of the getting soaked with a bucket of water story? When? Where? Why? By whom? quercus robur 13:24, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
- Cor, you're a stickler. I was just getting a page up with enough so it didn't get speedied again by an over enthusiastic admin. It was BBC news I think I got that from I'll try and find it again for reference. --LiamE 17:25, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
