Cannot confirm the following anecdotal material "He went to Texas Military Institute and his roommate was Ronald Lee ("Runt") Bowen. When he was performing at an Annual Rodeo in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas (Mercedes Livestock Show), he phoned Runt and told him he was making so much money from Bonanza he stuffed it in mattresses." Blocker was principal owner of the Bonanza Steakhouse chain.

Can anyone substantiate this? I'm removing it until it can be documented. It sounds like urban legend.
