Danny Huston (born on 14 May 1962) is an American actor and director.
Huston was born in Rome, Italy, the son of legendary director John Huston, the half-brother of actress Anjelica Huston, and the grandson of Academy Award-winning actor Walter Huston. His mother, Zoe Sallis, was an actress of Anglo/Iranian descent;[1] his parents never married.[2]
Huston began his career directing in television, before making his first feature in 1988. For this he chose to adapt Thornton Wilder's last novel Theophilus North. Starting in 1995's Leaving Las Vegas he moved in front of the camera as an actor and has continued in that capacity in over twenty films, including the lead role in John Sayles' Silver City opposite such well known performers as Chris Cooper, Richard Dreyfuss, Maria Bello, Tim Roth and Daryl Hannah.
Huston played director/actor Orson Welles in Fade to Black.
