Danny Alberto Fonseca (born November 7, 1979) is a professional Costa Rican football (soccer) player. He plays his club football for Brujas F.C. and has been selected in the squad for Costa Rica in the 2006 FIFA World Cup. As of June 9, 2006 he had gained 21 full caps and claimed 2 goals.
He was the first player to be booked in the FIFA World Cup 2006 during his country's 4-2 defeat to Germany
