Daniel Coles (born October 30, 1981 in Bristol) is a professional footballer currently playing for Hull City in England's Football League Championship.
Coles is a defender who was signed for Hull City on 26 July 2005 by then manager Peter Taylor from Bristol City for a fee of £200,000.
Coles played 148 games for Bristol City and was named their Young Player Of The Year in 2002-03. After a promising start to his Hull City career, Coles suffered a knee injury which ruled him out for the remainder of the 2005-06 season.
He currently lives in the local village of Long Riston.
