Dannii Carbone was a fictional character on the Channel 4 British soap opera Hollyoaks. She was played by actress Christina Baily from 2004-2006.

Dannii was introduced as a wealthy fashion-conscious student at Hollyoaks Community College. She made her first appearance in Hollyoaks by arriving in a flashy car with blacked-out windows and a couple of mean-looking men by her side. It was not long before brunette Dannii got a reputation as a girl with money and influential connections. She moved above Drive N' Buy with Nick O'Connor and Kristian Hargreaves, and attracted a few male attentions.

Everyone jumped to the conclusions that her dad was a member of the Mafia but he was actualy just a rich Italian businessman but Dannii proved that she didn't need have dad to provide for her and that she could stand on her own feet. She began to work at the 'Student Union Bar and fell for the charms of Russ Owen and the pair started to date. However, the relationship took a break when Russell discovered that he had testicular cancer and Dannii showed her loyalty as she stuck by him. She also became best of friends with Hall's room mate Joe Spencer as she often supported him throughout his troubles.

Dannii and Russ started dating again and her romance with Russ was going perfect, but things took a turn for the worst for Dannii. At Lee Hunter’s party, her drink was spiked by Andy Holt, who later on raped her. The morning after, Dannii could not remember what had happened and confronted Andy as he told her that she slept with him. Russ's brother Sam (who was best friends with Andy) overheard what had happend and Dannii begged him not to tell Russ. Dannii felt guilty about sleeping with Andy and kept the secret to herself for a while until a campaign at the college was launched about drug rape. When Louise Summers (who had also been drugged but saved from being raped by Joe) told Dannii the effects of drug rape, Dannii recognised the symptoms and realised that she had been raped by Andy.

Despite confronting him with the truth, Andy refused to admit he had raped her and to make things worse, Andy lied to Russ and told him that Dannii had sudduced him and they had slept together. Andy told Russ that he didn't know she was his girlfriend and Dannii was now trying to accuse him of a false rape allegation. When Russ confronted her Dannii became furious and told Russ that Andy realy did rape her but Russ believed Andy over Dannii, as Andy he had become friends with Andy through Sam (who was now also in on the rapes and Andy had rapped Dannii). Dannii then reached her lowest point and attempted to jump off the roof of HCC but was stopped Louise who had brung fellow rape victims Mel and Sophie Burton along with her to prove to Danni that they could band together and report Andy to the police. The four victims gave headed over to the police station and gave their statements but Andy had disappeared from Hollyoaks and was nowhere to be found.

Dannii got support from her fellow victims and her friends including Joe, but despite Russ making a 180-degree turnaround, Dannii did not want to know. After several attempts to recover from her rape, Dannii knew she had to make a fresh start back home in Italy, and despite Russ’s attempts to stop Dannii from going, her decision was made. Russ even told Dannii that he had accidently killed Andy when he went to confront him for what he did to her (which he thought he did, but Andy had actually survived), which shocked Dannii and she told him to go to the police with what he had done. After a tearful goodbye to Russ, Dannii then left the Hollyoaks in a taxi, never to return.
