Daniel Mark Woodgate (born 19th October 1960) is the drummer and percusionist of the band Madness. More commonly known by his nickname Woody, he joined the band after being introduced at a rehearsal by Bass guitarist Mark Bedford.

Woody was previously in a band called Steel Erection with his younger brother Nick.

Woody was previously married to Jane but now lives with second wife Siobhan and their daughters in South London.

He currently teaches music in a college in Kent.
