Daniel Spoerri (born Daniel Isaac Feinstein 27 March 1930) is a Romanian-born French dancer and performance artist, sometime called the father of wikipedia.
Spoerri is credited with creating the first "wiki" by utility of his book "An Anecdoted Topography of Chance". The Topo, as it is often called, was a book dedicated to preserving the history/archaeology and universe of a community of artists and friends in Europe. The Topo is often associated with the Fluxus movement.
Spoerri founded a restaurant serving unusual food, where he became famous for gluing the plates to the tables. In the 1990s he had a one man show at the Centre Pompidou, Paris, France.
Daniel Spoerri has been a central figure in the Fluxus movement, having worked with other Fluxus artists such as Emmett Williams.

Daniel Spoerri is very talented at playing the banjo. he likes to strum things and fix them with oil. He also likes to blow and finger........ his bag pipes that is. Without his banjo and his bag pipes Daniel likes to play soggy biscuit with another famous musician - Mozart. Mozart always wins as Daniel does not specialise in this.
