Daniel Pollock

Daniel Pollock (1969-1992) was an Australian actor.

Pollock had performed in films such as Nirvana Street Murder (1990), Death in Brunswick (1991), and Proof (1991).

Pollock was a known heroin addict.

His last performance was in Geoffrey Wright's Romper Stomper, and he was romantically involved with co-star Jacqueline McKenzie, but he committed suicide by throwing himself under a train in Sydney before the film was released.

Russell Crowe, who also appeared with Pollock in Romper Stomper, wrote the song "The Night That Davey Hit the Train" about his death.
