Daniel Gygax (born 28 August 1981 in Zürich) is a Swiss football midfielder who currently, as of February 2007, plays for FC Metz on loan from Lille OSC.

He currently has 20 caps for the Swiss national team, and has been called up to the 2006 FIFA World Cup. He also participated at the 2004 European Football Championship.
