Daniel Dalarossa

A Brazilian by birth and one of the co-founders of Cyclades Corporation, a privately-held company based in Fremont, CA.

In January, 2006, he was named 2005 Person of the Year by ITWeek Magazine. The article talks about his 1991 dream to establish a successful tech company. With John Lima by his side, his company, Cyclades, became the first hardware company in the world to use the Linux operating system in a commercial environment. Daniel Dalarossa and John Lima recently sold Cyclades Corporation to Avocent for $90 million dollars in cash. Since then, it is unknown what either Lima or Dalarossa plan to do next.
