Daniel Arnaldo Roman

Daniel Arnaldo Román (April 21, 1974) born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, is a painter, musician, video-artist and renowned designer.

Román was born in Puerto Rico's second largest city which is located on the southern part of the island. He received his primary and secondary education in Jayuya, a town in the very center of the island of Puerto Rico and known for its cultural values. Since a child he enjoyed drawing, painting and music, habilities which later lead him to pursue studies in fine arts at School of Fine Arts of Puerto Rico (Escuela de Artes Plasticas de Puerto Rico).

On 2005 he along with his wife and longtime partner Lilliam Nieves start a design project which they call Grupo Probeta. Although at that time he didn't had any studies in computer related fields, only his 4 years experience, he managed to pursue and follow the current trends in contemporary design.

On 2006 he co-founded the magazine Trance Liquido. A magazine that serve as platform for musicians, designers, artists and writers. His painting style is often sees as Expresionist Post-Pop where the flesh is an important part. His work is currently on important collections in Puerto Rico, New York, Holland and Washington
