"Dangerously In Love 2" is an R&B/soul song written by singer-songwriter Beyoncé Knowles and producer Errol McCalla Jr. "Dangerously In Love 2" received a generally positive response from music critics. In the U.S. the ballad went for airplay only and was never released in other countries.

The original version of the song can also be found on Destiny's Child's third studio album Survivor. It features a modified arrangement and background vocals by band mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

[edit] Music video

No music video exists for the song, although Beyoncé frequently performs the song live, often as a prelude to "Crazy in Love".

[edit] Performances

As stated above, the song is recorded with Beyonce as lead vocalist, on the album "Survivor" it is one of the few songs Beyonce is singing almost all by her own. It is suggested that at the time of recording the original version Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams did not bond with the song as much as Knowles did.

Dangerously in love is often sung by Beyonce to show her vocal power and range. An example of this is the 2004 Grammy performance, which is a much beloved performance of many fans and critics.

[edit] Award

The song has received the Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance
