Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor is a qualification required of chemical distributors and storage companies throughout the United Kingdom relating to packing and labelling of hazardous materials. At least one qualified DGSA is required to administer labels and vehicle hazard plates in accordance to the ADR Regulations. A company may hire a DGSA on a contractual basis for telephone advice if it does not employ one. The qualification lasts five years upon completion, and the examining body in the UK is the Scottish Qualifications Authority.[1]
