"Dancing in the Dark" is the second single from the album Catch As Catch Can by Kim Wilde in 1983. It did not meet with the success of previous singles, only just managing to chart in Wilde's home country. It was written by Nicky Chinn and Paul Gurvitz, making it only the second track Wilde recorded not written by her father and brother. The latter did however receive production credits, and the track was remixed by Nile Rodgers.
