[edit] Songlist

The songlist for Dancing Stage Fusion was seen as a breakthrough for the European market, containing many more songs that the previous editions (MegaMix and Fever). Many more difficult songs were added than before, and many licensed songs were of a harder difficulty than before (licenses in MegaMix had a maximum foot rating of 4, while Fusion's go up as high as 7). However, many fans were disappointed that many of the repeats (notably Trip Machine, Trip Machine (LUV MIX), Make It Better, Make It Better (SO-Real Mix), La Senorita, and La Senorita Virtual) had appeared in very early mixes of the Dance Dance Revolution series.

[edit] Music

Notable songs from this version include:

  • Across The Nightmare: Runs at constant 300 BPM.
  • PARANOIA survivor: The only ten footer song in the game, it runs at 270 BPM with severe slowdowns, many turns and the famous "death run" at the climax of the song.
  • xenon: A very chaotic nine footer which is grouped with Paranoia Survivor for difficulty, as it is seen as possibly the second most difficult song in the game.

[edit] Notes

  • A Dancing Stage Fusion machine was prominent in the ending of Madonna's recent video for "Hung Up".
