Dance 360

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dance 360 (2004-2005) was a modern hip-hop television series in which different dancers competed to win 360 dollars and an Xbox or other prizes like a cell phone from T-Mobile. It was hosted by Fredro Starr and Kel Mitchell with DJ K-Sly providing the beats for the dancers.

The dancers were selected from the audience at the beginning of the show, and they competed one-on-one, with the winner going on to the next round. They were judged by the level of audience applause. In addition to the prizes awarded, the winner was also given the last few seconds of the show to give "shout outs" to friends and family. The show's title comes from the circle on the dance floor where the dancers competed.

Host Kel Mitchell previously starred in a television show along with his friend Kenan Thompson for a three year run. Host Fredro Star previously played on the hit show Moesha playing one of her boyfriends, Q. DJ K-Sly, whose real name is Kathleen Taylor was a guest host on On Air With Ryan Seacrest.

The show was noted for its famous slogans: "Yo, Fredro, where you at?!", "Three six oooh", "Tag ya man!" and "Head To Head".

This show was cancelled in 2005 due to poor ratings and off-the-air disagreements between Fredro and Kel.
