DanceSport World Champions (Ten Dance)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

DanceSport's Ten-Dance championship is awarded to the couple that performs best in all ten forms of Standard and Latin ballroom dancing. The World Championships have been held annually for Ten Dance since they were organised by the ICBD in 1980 (with the exception of 1982). The ICBD has since been renamed WD&DSC and represents all the major professional DanceSport countries.

The dances covered in the Ten Dance are the five International Standard Dances: Slow Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep, along with the five International Latin Dances: Cha cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive
