Dana Strum (born December 13, 1958 in Washington, DC) is the bassist of heavy metal band Slaughter. Before that, he was in Vinnie Vincent Invasion together with fellow bandmate, Mark Slaughter. He is also a friend of Black Sabbath vocalist Ozzy Osbourne; one story relates how Dana introduced Ozzy to guitarist Randy Rhoads.

Strum is also credited with placing Jake E. Lee in Osbourne's band and Mark St. John in KISS.

He was once in the band Modern Design with one time Beggars & Thieves members Louie Merlino and Ron Mancuso.

He also had a cameo in Wayne's World as the guitar store clerk who stopped Wayne from playing "Stairway to Heaven".

Reportedly, Dana Strum has lately been playing with Vince Neil.

Previously Married to Porn Actress Tami Monroe (1989-1990) and Swedish Bikini Team Model Peggy Trentini (12/1991-6/1992)

Dana's last name is an example of an aptronym, meaning that it is aptly suited to its owner.
