Dana Heinze (Born in Johnstown, PA) is currently the head equipment manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL.

Dana Heinze was educated at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY.
[edit] Johnstown Chiefs
Dana Heinze served as head trainer of the ECHL's Johnstown Chiefs twice from 1988-1992, and 1995-1998.

He was the head equipment manager for the New Jersey Devils of the NHL during the 1992-93 season.

He was the equipment manager of the IHL's Detroit Vipers during the 2000 season.
[edit] Tampa Bay Lightning
Dana Heinze joined the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning prior to the 2001 season as their assistant equipment manager. He would stay with the franchise until the end of the 2006 season. He won the Stanley Cup with Tampa Bay in 2004.

He joined the Pittsburgh Penguins organization before the start of the 2007 season.
